Tasting Date: 23 March 2012

Pale gold with a vibrant, mouth-watering acidity reminiscent of good Chablis. Initial hints of garrigue and austere, polished stone minerality mature into toast and peach with mealy undertones. Steely minerality gives way to mouth filling opulence. Drink / Hold

Not the intensity of fruit that we often see. A rather more subtle and restrained bouquet that is dominated by mineral and flint. Lots of hints of good Chablis here. There is power and intensity to the palate albeit still tightly bound. Great direction and a linear focus to the wine. All up this wine brims with tension, energy and drive and is still Nigel's all time favourite Felton Road Chardonnay... Drink / Hold
